LaLiga is considering seeking the expertise of a professional who can read lips to determine if Jude Bellingham's purported insult towards Mason Greenwood warrants any action or not.

If specialists establish without a doubt that Bellingham referred to Greenwood as a 'rapist' during the match between Getafe and Real Madrid on Thursday, LaLiga is not authorized to take disciplinary action against the players. Instead, the case will be forwarded to the disciplinary committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

According to Sportsmail, the procedure of consultation and deliberations by RFEF will not be done hastily and may take a few weeks to complete, instead of just a few days.

According to a lip-reading professional hired by Mail Sport, it is highly likely that Bellingham used the word 'rapist' after examining the recorded footage. The expert claims to be 97 per cent sure of this conclusion.

During the game on Thursday, Bellingham executed a firm tackle on a Getafe player, causing the ball to go out of bounds. When a video of the event was shared on social media, some fans thought they heard Bellingham use the word 'rapist' towards the opposing player. Bellingham is an England international.

It's been reported that during the recent LaLiga game between Getafe and Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham directed a highly offensive remark towards Mason Greenwood.

On social media, some fans have alleged that Bellingham quietly said something offensive to Greenwood.

After Greenwood moved to Getafe in September of last year and Bellingham signed with Real Madrid in June, the two English players finally met each other for the first time this season. They played against each other and completed the game.

The young striker who is 22 years old decided to leave Manchester United on loan. This decision was reached through mutual agreement after a thorough inquiry into the player's actions.

In January 2022, Greenwood was accused of attempted rape, assault, and coercive behavior. However, the Crown Prosecution Service had to let the charges go in February 2023 since some essential witnesses decided to withdraw their allegations against Greenwood.

According to Jeremy Freeman, a forensic lip reader and expert witness, who analyzed the clip, he confidently determined that the spoken word is "rapist" after carefully reviewing the context in which it was used. Freeman shared his analysis exclusively with Mail Sport and he is 97% sure of his findings.

The lips provide visual signals for the sounds 'R' and 'P', and the word seems to have an abrupt ending.

Moreover, Freeman took into account that the speaker has a distinguishable Birmingham accent when making his analysis.

As these visual indicators are very clear and there is no other possible explanation, I am completely confident in my conclusion.

Freeman analyzed the clip while considering Bellingham's accent from Birmingham.

After the video of the incident was spread on social media, Getafe has taken steps by requesting the game's referee, Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea, to include the supposed insult in his report about the match.

If Bellingham proceeds with this action, the Spanish football federation (RFEF) may still discipline them. However, it may be difficult to prove the case without any audio evidence.

Getafe has informed the LaLiga representative at Estadio Coliseum about the alleged insult, but the club has not yet officially accused Bellingham of wrongdoing.

The people who represent Bellingham were reached out to for a statement.

The supposed remark was made right after the popular player from Real Madrid tackled Greenwood close to the sideline.

The rising star from Los Blancos played a crucial role in Carlo Ancelotti's team, who effortlessly won the derby with a score of 2-0, thanks to two goals from former Newcastle striker Joselu.

The team's triumph has led them to reclaim the top spot in LaLiga, with a lead of two points over Girona, who have unexpectedly performed well.

Greenwood couldn't make his presence felt for the home team, and he played the complete 90 minutes in their away jersey. He nearly scored in the second half but hit the post instead.
