"He completed his work late last night and I have a strong desire to humiliate him. He took a taxi at 4.15 in the morning and caught a flight at 6 o'clock just to be present here today, which I truly acknowledge."

Following a balanced opening to the game, Kostyuk gradually began to outperform Boulter and quickly advanced to a 5-2 advantage.

After the game, she expressed that this week was exceptional for various reasons.

This match is truly impressive, I put in a lot of effort for it, and I showcased some exceptional tennis skills throughout the entire week.

Today was quite a challenge, especially since I was feeling a bit anxious. However, I persevered and succeeded in the end. I feel a great sense of accomplishment and pride for overcoming that hurdle.

Much of the experience involved me focusing on maintaining my mental toughness. I successfully kept myself composed by finding a sense of inner peace and tranquility within myself.

In my opinion, it was quite beneficial and subsequently, I began to unwind and execute my shots with more ease.

Boulter has made a great start to the 2024 season and with her win against Kostyuk, she has made it to the top 30 for the first time, now sitting at the 27th spot on the rankings.
