Julian Clary
Julian Clary: Comedian and Actor Extraordinaire
Julian Clary is a well-known British comedian and actor. He gained recognition in the 1980s for his outrageous and camp performances, which often included risqué jokes and innuendo. His most famous catchphrase, "The fella with the c**k in his pocket", cemented his reputation as a boundary-pushing comedian.
Despite some controversy over his style of comedy, Julian has remained a popular figure in the entertainment industry. He has hosted numerous radio and television shows, including "Sticky Moments with Julian Clary" and "Animal Crackers". He has also acted in various stage productions, including a West End performance of "Cabaret".
Julian Clary: A Life Outside of Comedy
While Julian Clary is primarily known for his comedy and acting, he has also been involved in various charitable causes throughout his career. In 2013, he took part in the "Stand Up Against Cancer" comedy show, raising money for cancer research. He has also been a supporter of LGBT rights and an advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness.
Away from the spotlight, Julian is a keen gardener and has published several books on the subject. He has also written two autobiographies, "A Young Man's Passage" and "My Life With Fanny The Wonder Dog", which provide insight into his personal experiences and challenges. Julian Clary may be a larger-than-life character on stage, but behind the scenes, he is a multifaceted individual with many interests and passions.
