Edebiri posted pictures on her Instagram story showing that she and screenwriter Jeremy O. Harris were out together to celebrate the Irish holiday. Although their outing may have been solely a friendly gathering, fans soon began to request that the two become a couple or star in a romantic comedy together.

A page that supports the two actors stated that they are about to star in a romantic comedy together. Someone else chimed in and urgently requested for them to appear in the genre soon.

The possibility of the pair getting together was reported, following Mescal's confession about his 'ick' trigger. He was previously engaged to Phoebe Bridgers and had been rumored to be romantically linked with Florence Pugh. The actor revealed that the 'ick' he experiences is caused by something we all tend to do.

Before the premiere of his latest romance film, All Of Us Strangers, Mescal shared in an interview: "You know what makes me uncomfortable? When people pretend to be calm about something, like saying 'I'm just going to turn off the lights', but then you can hear them running up the stairs because they're afraid." He admitted that many of us have probably had this experience before.

I believe many of us would do the same thing. However, if I were attempting to impress someone, I would opt for a more seamless approach of ascending the staircase, rather than dealing with any complications or obstacles.

Mescal has more than just one distaste related to stairs. He shared in the video that those who choose to 'glide down the stairs with their buttocks' make him even more uncomfortable.

No matter if she's single or taken, we should all pray that Edebiri understands how to properly use the stairs.
