Mowatt was the star of the match in Portsmouth yesterday, scoring two impressive goals that helped Carlos Corberan's team climb to the top of the Championship standings.

The Baggies continue their undefeated streak, celebrating their fourth victory out of five games this season, while 2,000 fans who made the trip cheered for their impressive standing in Hampshire.

Mowatt's brilliant two goals, both long-range shots that found the top corners, along with Josh Maja's rapid opener just 54 seconds into the match, contributed to a clear and convincing win.

The optimistic Mowatt, 29, is full of confidence. When questioned about Albion's potential to accomplish something remarkable this season, he replied, "Absolutely, we have that belief. The key is staying consistent and focusing on each match individually."
