Lexmoto is adding a new A2-compliant XDV300 scooter to their affordable low-capacity motorcycle range. It has an adventure-style and costs under £4700.

The market for mid-sized twist-and-go bikes has grown a lot lately. Many well-known brands from Japan and Europe are competing for the top spot. They all want to be the best bike for everyday practical use.

There are different types of models available. Some of them include Honda ADV350, BMW C400X, and Suzuki Burgman 400. There are also other options like Kymco DTX 360 and Peugeot XP400 GT. The prices range from £5559 to £7449. Lexmoto seems to have taken inspiration from Honda.

Lexmoto wants a share of the market. They sell their product for £4699.99 plus on the road fees. You can put three-piece luggage on it. You can ride alone or with one other person.

The XDV has a Euro5 compliant 279cc single-cylinder engine. It has a 13.5-litre fuel tank. The bike produces 25.5bhp at 8250rpm and 17.7lb.ft of torque at 7000rpm. Its top speed is 81mph. This means you can keep up with traffic. However, it is not as powerful as other bikes.

The motor is belt-driven and liquid-cooled. It has bulky bodywork that looks like Honda's X-ADV semi-automatic maxi scooter. The bodywork has an adjustable clear screen and storage under the single piece seat.

This bike has some cool stuff. There's a clock with blue and white numbers. The handlebars are flat and open. You can get heated grips for cold days. The front of the bike has LED lights to help you see. It weighs 168 kilograms. You're good to go!

Even though it looks like an adventure bike, it's better to ride on the road.

It has 13in rims and the motor is partly exposed. It might have trouble on anything worse than a dirt track. The front tire is close to the mudguard, so it could get dirty if you go off-road.

Other features of the motorcycle include a front and rear disc brake for stopping. It also has long-travel KYB forks for suspension, and adjustable gas-charged rear shocks for preload.
