SAUDIA Unveils 25 Additional Global Destinations

SAUDIA (SV) and flyadeal have announced their plans to increase the SAUDIA Group Network by introducing 25 new international destinations in 2023. These new routes are expected to be launched in the said year, and the airline will provide more details about the schedules for these destinations soon.

The head of SAUDIA Group, H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, made a statement about the growth of their international network. Al-Omar expressed that SAUDIA Group is proud to represent the kingdom's beliefs and customs on their flights around the globe. The addition of new destinations will provide more options for travelers, as demands for international travel continue to rise. Al-Omar believes this is the perfect time to expand their global network and add some exciting new locations.

Your Visa Depends on Your Ticket

In January, the airline launched a groundbreaking service called “Your Ticket Your Visa”. This pioneering offering seamlessly links transit visas and flight tickets through an advanced digital integration system. As a result, travelers visiting the Kingdom can now enjoy even more effortless access.

Tourists can now explore Saudi Arabia with more flexibility, thanks to the latest service available at all international airports in the country. This service enables visitors to stay for up to 96 hours and perform the Umrah religious ritual. The transit visa process is much quicker, and it is now possible to connect it with an SV flight ticket using digital means, which are now integrated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On September 23, 2017, during Saudi National Day, flyadeal successfully took off on its inaugural flight from Jeddah to Riyadh. Within a day after the launch of ticket sales through digital platforms only, 10,000 seats had already been sold, making it the first airline ever to achieve such a feat.

SAUDIA has a total of 142 airplanes in their fleet comprising of B787-9, B777-300ER, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321, and Airbus A330-300 models. They started their services with a flight from Jeddah to Riyadh but now have expanded their network to cover 27 different international, seasonal, and domestic destinations.
