During the Pulp Fiction 30th Anniversary celebration that took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on April 18th, Sher, who is 61 years old, had a conversation with PEOPLE. In their chat, she expressed her admiration for Willis, a 69-year-old actor, and his friendly demeanor.
She shared a unique anecdote about Bruce Willis from the movie. She mentioned her deceased dad, Sy Sher, who was not professionally trained in acting and had never been on a set before, aside from his occasional visits to see her. Surprisingly, he coached Bruce Willis in boxing.
She went on to say that Bruce had been very considerate to him. Even though he was not experienced in this field, he held cinema in high regard. Bruce played a big role in her love affair with movies.
Regarding the question of whether she has maintained contact with Willis, with whom she shared a career in the entertainment industry, after he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023, Sher responded by saying that they have spoken from time to time. She also mentioned that she is acquainted with his ex-wife Demi Moore and his daughters, and that he is a fantastic individual whom they all hope for the best for.

On April 18, Sher spoke with PEOPLE and expressed that she never perceived the creative ideas and unwavering commitment of Quentin Tarantino, the director and writer of Pulp Fiction, as something that carried any risk.
The mother of two, who has been wedded to musician Kerry Brown since 2001, adds that she perceived them as an extension of his imaginative pursuit.
"I have consistently supported his artistic curiosity and recognized him as the skilled filmmaker and creative director that he is," she affirms.
Sher acknowledges that Tarantino is someone with immense dedication to his craft and principles, and adds that he holds a strong passion for movies.
"She claims that the world of cinema has been enriched by the presence of Quentin Tarantino," she states.
