Pernod Ricard's Absolut and Heinz were influenced by a popular TikTok and Instagram trend in 2020, which featured a zesty vodka pasta recipe.

According to the brand's statement, their vodka enhances the flavour of the tomato sauce with basil and cheese, making it rich and creamy. As the vodka is cooked, it decreases in volume and enhances the taste components of the tomatoes.

According to Leanne Banks, the marketing director at Pernod Ricard UK, it is inevitable to form a partnership with Heinz to bring about an ultimate amalgamation of two widely popular brands, showcased in two classic bottles.

Absolut, being the top-notch vodka brand in the UK, was created to blend seamlessly, whether it's in scrumptious cocktails or entertaining food fusions. The blend between Heinz and Absolut Tomato Vodka Pasta Sauce is certainly a match made in paradise.

There will be a small amount of Heinz x Absolut Vodka Pasta Sauce jars sold in the United Kingdom starting in mid-April for £2.50 (US$3) per 350g jar.
