The Academy of Manchester United had countless reasons to feel a sense of accomplishment after Erik ten Hag's team successfully tackled a challenging obstacle against a passionate Everton team and emerged victorious with a 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon.

Alejandro Garnacho's amazing acrobatic moves were truly remarkable, but his goal also made him the fourth player from our youth team to score in the Premier League this season. He had already shown his scoring prowess in the Carabao Cup, where he found the back of the net in the win against Crystal Palace.

Marcus Rashford was successful in scoring a goal by executing a penalty flawlessly in the latter half. Furthermore, Kobbie Mainoo initiated his first Premier League start while playing as a midfielder, and henceforth was felicitated with our Man of the Match award.

Hannibal, who has also been scoring for our team this season, joined the game towards the end as a substitute. Additionally, Joe Hugill made his debut as a substitute in the Premier League.

For years to come, people will be discussing the impressive acrobatic move that Alejandro pulled off during the match against Everton.

Scott McTominay has scored three times in the league, with his latest two goals coming in the game against Brentford. It was almost a remarkable achievement for our Academy, as we would have witnessed five of our graduates scoring in a single game, if Jonny Evans's goal in the game against Burnley had not been disallowed by VAR.

The data is in our favor compared to other clubs. Studies reveal that it's extremely challenging for Academy players to get to the top-tier clubs and have a significant influence.

Brighton & Hove Albion have come very close to having the most number of Academy scorers in the Premier League. They have three talented players who have proven themselves on the field - Lewis Dunk, Solly March (who joined the club when he was just a teenager from Lewes), and Evan Ferguson. However, Arsenal is the only other club that has more than one Academy scorer, with Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah showing their worth.

Additionally, it's important to mention that some of our ex-Academy pupils have also succeeded in scoring goals in the current Premier League season.

Over the weekend, Teden Mengi achieved an exciting milestone by scoring his first senior goal for Luton Town. Tahith Chong also made a memorable goal against Liverpool not too long ago. James Garner, who played against the team on Sunday, is another player who has made the list, along with Andreas from Fulham, Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest, Oliver Norwood from Sheffield United, and Danny Welbeck from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Jack Harrison from Everton and Josh Brownhill from Burnley played for United when they were young students. Oli McBurnie from Sheffield United participated in the 2013 Milk Cup while still being a member of the Bradford City Academy.
