Leicester City

Leicester City lost against Fulham with a score of 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday. Fulham scored first with Emile Smith Rowe in the first half, but Wout Faes evened the score before half-time. In the second half, Leicester City got caught out of position, which allowed Alex Iwobi to score the winning goal for Fulham.

Out of all the players who could have a chance to score in the box, Wout Faes may not have been the first one on your mind at 92 minutes.#lcfc is fighting until the end.

I don't know, Jamie. He was the one who scored our only goal today.

Honestly, the Foxes were outplayed throughout the match and have no reason to be unhappy with the outcome. City were in control of every aspect of the game. The home team kept Leicester on the defensive for most of the match and when City had opportunities to attack, they didn't seem very dangerous. Our attackers in the end were Ayew, Mavididi, Fatawu, and McAteer, and it's clear why Cooper is looking for more choices, especially since McAteer was the most energetic player in the final moments of the game.

It wasn't completely negative, but the positive moments mainly occurred in the defensive end of the field. Playing with three defenders provided some protection for Kristiansen, who was having trouble dealing with Adama Traore. It's no surprise that most left-backs struggle against the Spanish player. Faes, Vestergaard, and Hermansen all performed well. Buonanotte's assist for Faes' goal was superb, but beyond that, there isn't much else positive to mention.

Vardy didn't make much of an impact and could have just stayed home. Winks was unusually careless with the ball, putting us in tricky situations. These things happen. Maresca did a great job boosting Winks' confidence after a tough game, and it will be important for Cooper to do the same.

Today, it felt like we never really got into a rhythm. I believe that we are not setting ourselves up for success with the starting lineups we are choosing.

Mavididi should definitely be in the starting lineup instead of Bobby Reid. Pereira should definitely be included in the team, right?

Leicester City lineup: Hermansen, Justin, Faes, Vestergaard, Kristiansen (McAteer), Winks, Ndidi, Fatawu, Buonanotte (Skipp), De Cordova-Reid (Ayew), Vardy (Mavididi)

Fulham lineup: Leno in goal, with Tete, Diop Bassey, Robinson, Pereira, Lukic, Traore, Smith Rowe, Iwobi, Muniz, and Jimenez on the field. Reed, Wilson, Cairney also featured in the match.
