Friend MTS recently revealed that the renowned UK broadcaster ITV has opted for their effective anti-piracy solutions.

The partnership intends to safeguard ITV's principal traditional channels on both broadcasting and online streaming platforms by utilizing the monitoring service provided by Friend MTS on a global scale.

The company mentioned that their solution combines automated detection systems and a round-the-clock operations team. They use their own fingerprinting technology to pinpoint illegal streams and quickly remove them. Additionally, Friend MTS offers assistance with removing links from leading search engines.

In her statement, Sarah Tierney, who holds the position of distribution director at ITV, expressed that the goal for ITV is to ensure that piracy is no longer a viable option. The company plans to team up with Friend MTS to step up their efforts to combat piracy within the United Kingdom.

Our plan to make broadcasting more efficient and improve streaming relies heavily on increasing ITV’s reach. However, it is just as crucial that we shield our viewers from the harmful effects of pirated content and comply with our agreements with content owners.
