Fenerbahçe is one of the most popular football clubs in Turkey, based in Istanbul. The club was founded in 1907 and has a rich history of success both domestically and internationally. The name Fenerbahçe comes from the lighthouse (fener in Turkish) that sits on the coast near the club's original location.

Although Fenerbahçe is primarily known for its football team, the club also has many other sports teams such as basketball, tennis, and volleyball. The team's colors are yellow and navy blue, and their home stadium is Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, which has a capacity of 50,000 spectators.

Achievements

Over the years, Fenerbahçe has won numerous titles in Turkish football, including 28 Super League titles, 6 Turkish Cups, and 9 Turkish Super Cups. The club has also had success on the European stage, reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League in the 2007-08 season.

Fenerbahçe's most successful period came in the 2010s, where they won the Super League four times in five seasons. During this period, they also reached the semi-finals of the Europa League twice, in the 2012-13 and 2015-16 seasons. Fenerbahçe has a large and passionate fanbase, known as "Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium".
