On Tuesday, the Powerchair team of England had a game against Australia and managed to win. However, they unfortunately suffered a loss against France during their ongoing FIFPA World Championship journey.

As the round-robin stage of the competition carried on at the Quaycentre in Sydney's Olympic Park, Colin Gordon's crew aimed to enhance their remarkable beginning that consisted of wins against Argentina, Republic of Ireland, and Denmark.

However, their winning streak was interrupted as they faced their traditional opponents, France, in the initial match of the day.

The Para Lions team suffered the consequences of a bad beginning in the match, as France scored early on with only two minutes having passed. Captain Mohamed Ghelami made a superb shot from a long distance, which went straight into the corner of the goal.

It's October 17, 2023, 10 minutes past 7 in the morning.

Take a look at the FIFPA World Championship game against France.

Ghelami increased their lead after two minutes by shooting from the edge of the box. The ball hit an England defender's leg and rolled into the goal.

The coach of the Lions team, Gordon, made a change in the players by replacing Dan McLellan with Ed Common. This was done in an attempt to help England regain their dominance in the game and to make the match more balanced. As the game progressed, England began to challenge the French and were able to put them through intense questioning.

However, having a solid defense strategy, France was able to strengthen their lead and prevent England from scoring in the second half. Finally, in the last minute of the game, Ghelami scored his third goal, taking advantage of Chris Gordon's clearance and scoring a goal to secure a decisive victory for France.

Even though England's previous outcome didn't have a huge impact on their self-assurance, they rebounded with a remarkable 6-1 victory against the home team.

In the eighth minute of the match, Jon Bolding scored the first point by taking a penalty shot. This happened because there was contact in the box while Bradley Bates was attempting to shoot at the goal.

After just eleven minutes, the lead was increased by two through a skillful play by Bolding. He initiated a move by exchanging passes with Marcus Harrison and eventually gave the ball back to Harrison who managed to finish from near the post.

The successful collaboration between Bolding and Harrison resulted in another point for their team. Just five minutes following the first goal, Bolding chose Harrison in the box, where he expertly positioned himself to score and solidify their lead.

During the opening of the second half and at the four-minute mark, the Australian team scored a goal and narrowed the gap between them and their opponents to 3-1. Abdullah Karim managed to hit an angled shot skillfully, bringing hope to their team.

Relive the entire match as the Para Lions secure a remarkable win in Sydney.

In just a matter of moments, England managed to regain their three-goal lead thanks to Bolding's quick thinking. Once again, he located Harrison inside the box, who effortlessly scored his third goal of the game.

Ed Common scored his second goal of the tournament by taking a well-controlled shot when he received a diagonal pass from Gordon on the left side.

Shortly after that, Bolding scored from far away which resulted in a total of six goals for the team.
