Emma Stone: Actress says she 'would like to be' called by her real name

The Hollywood starlet, Emma Stone, has declared that she would rather be identified by her legitimate given name, Emily.

The person who won an Oscar mentioned that Emily is the name given to her at birth, and she prefers to be addressed by that name.

The main actress of La La Land and Poor Things shared with The Hollywood Reporter that she desires her admirers to recognize her by her given name.

Emma decided to alter her name before achieving fame since there existed an actress known as Emily Stone at the same period. As a result, Emma made the decision to change her given name.

Stone had a moment of panic a few years ago and instructed her coworkers to address her as Emily.

If fans were to refer to her by her name Emily, Stone replied that she would welcome it and find it pleasing. She expressed that she wouldn't mind being called Emily.

During a recent interview, Nathan Fielder, who co-stars with her on the comedic thriller TV series "The Curse," shared that Emma is actually a stage name used by the 35-year-old actress.

He mentioned that he calls her Emily or Em, while she uses the name Emma for her professional life.

When inquired whether she is ever referred to as Emily in the movie business, Stone replied, "Once I form a bond with my colleagues, they sometimes utilize my first name, Emily." This is due to the fact that there is already another actress in the Screen Actors Guild who goes by the name Emma Stone.

A few years ago, I had a sudden emotional reaction. I thought to myself, "I can't handle this anymore, just refer to me as Emily." My friend Nathan refers to me as Em because it's more convenient for him.
