The Cercle de Voile d'Arcachon played host to the European Championship held along the South West Atlantic coast of France, specifically at Bassin d'Arcachon.

Martin Olesen from Denmark has won the 2024 European Championship by achieving four victories in different races and securing second place. He has amassed a total of 6 points and has led his fellow Danish competitors to a complete triumph on the podium.

Klaus Madsen came in second place with a total of 15 points, while Oscar Thule claimed the third position on the podium with a score of 16 points.

There were other individuals who emerged as winners in the races aside from the main champion. Oscar Thule won in the third race while Camilla Svensson emerged victorious in the first race.

Out of the pair of British participants, Tim Law from Helford River Sailing Club and John Rees from Hayling Island Sailing Club, Law came in 7th place after consistently racking up points of 5, 19, 4, 5, 9, and 13. Rees, on the other hand, finished in 32nd place.

In anticipation of the international events that will take place at Hayling Island SC (HISC) in 2025, there has been a great deal of interest from the Danes and French to participate in the UK Nationals at HISC from Friday May 31st to Sunday June 2nd of this year.

The HISC location is set to host the 2025 European Championship for both Masters and Youth divisions.

The last leaders of the 2024 European Championship tournament, with a total of 49 entries, have been announced.

The results of a sailing race were listed, with each participant's country and score given. The winner was Denmark's Martin Olesen with six points, followed by Klaus Madsen with 15 points and Oscar Thule with 16 points. Other countries represented included France, Great Britain, Poland, and Germany. The final participant listed had 150 points.
