Who is Abhishek Sharma?

Abhishek Sharma is a young and talented Indian cricketer who has played for various teams across different formats. Born on September 4, 2000, Abhishek is a left-arm spinner and a left-handed batsman who made his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2018. He played for the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) as a replacement for the injured all-rounder, Chris Morris.

Abhishek also caught the attention of cricket enthusiasts after his impressive performance in the under-19 World Cup held in New Zealand in 2018. He took eight wickets in six matches and became one of the standout players of the Indian team. Abhishek has since been a part of several domestic teams and has also represented India A in matches against England Lions and West Indies A.
