TikTok has recently introduced a new feature called the "TikTok Creative Challenge," in an effort to encourage the creation of genuine advertisements. This feature is currently undergoing testing with certain brands and allows creators to participate in brand challenges by submitting video ads. By doing so, they have the opportunity to receive rewards based on the performance of their ads.

According to a post on the company's blog, creators have the option to explore a selection of challenges, review the challenge's description that includes the prize amount and specific guidelines, and submit their video advertisement.

In order to qualify for the latest addition, content creators need to be above the age of 18 and possess a TikTok account that is based in the United States, with a minimum of 50,000 followers.

TikTok is in search of "top-notch, expertly crafted, innovative" contributions. After gaining approval from the platform and brand, individuals will have the ability to monitor the progress of their entries, comprising their performance and monthly income.

"Various elements come into play when determining rewards, such as valid video views, clicks, and engagement," TikTok stated. "Creators will be notified if any modifications are needed for their submissions, and they will have the choice to edit or contest the decision."

After a video receives approval, it will be displayed as an advertisement on TikTok's For You Feed but won't be visible on the creator's profile. Creators who meet the requirements will gain entry to the TikTok Creator Community group and Mentor program.

The company announced its intention to assist in enhancing the effectiveness of brands' advertising campaigns. Advertisers participating in this initiative will be granted a maximum of 30 advertisements tailored exclusively for the TikTok audience. These ads will be crafted by experienced creators who possess a deep understanding of the TikTok community.

The company stated that they will keep considering the input from our community in order to enhance the program and ensure a smoother process for advertising and achieving outcomes on TikTok.
