Former Scotland rugby star Stuart Hogg charged by police after 'disturbance' in Hawick
It has been reported that Stuart Hogg, the ex-captain of Scotland's rugby team, has been apprehended and accused of causing a commotion in the Scottish Borders.
The authorities of Police Scotland reported that their police officers tended to a location in Hawick, Hogg's native town on Sunday 25 February, at approximately 4.40 pm.
Hogg, who is 31 years of age, was taken into custody and accused of a crime. He agreed to be present at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on a different day and was therefore released.
According to a spokesperson from Police Scotland, they will be submitting a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

Hogg, a retired rugby player who previously played as a full-back for Glasgow Warriors and Exeter Chiefs, had earned himself 100 caps for Scotland and had even set a record by scoring 27 tries. He announced his retirement from the sport in July.
