The Moscow region government and United Aircraft Corporation have come together to enhance the manufacturing of both military and commercial planes through a collaboration contract.

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Andrey Vorobyov, who is the Governor of the Moscow Region and Yury Slyusar, who is the General Director of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and Vice President of SoyuzMash Russia LLC, signed a contract.

It is anticipated that the deal will draw in fresh staff members, establish collaborative initiatives, and boost the manufacturing of aviation apparatus.

Yury Slyusar, the overall manager of PJSC UAC, has stated that production volumes are on the rise. The company is currently focused on crafting both military and civilian aircraft.

The Lukhovitsy aircraft factory in the Moscow Region is involved in developing a new regional passenger plane called Il-114-300. They are responsible for putting the final pieces together on the aircraft. At the moment, two prototype planes have already been produced.

One plane, which has a collection of engines, has recently begun testing at an airfield. It will successfully undergo flight tests after obtaining all necessary permits. Another plane is nearly ready for use in the final assembly shop. Production workers are currently putting together the initial batch of existing planes.

The UAC runs an aviation study center and airports for testing flights, along with factories for fixing airplanes located in the vicinity of Moscow.

Building airplanes is a crucial part of the Russian industry, and improving it is particularly important nowadays. Mr. Vorobyov stated that we need to enhance and update our aircraft fleet for both civilian and military use.

In the Moscow region, you can find Zhukovsky, which is a hub for aircraft production. Many big companies like Ilys, MiGs, and Sukhoi operate in this area, and their products are recognized globally.

The pact will aid in advancing the aviation field and enhance the marketability of domestic planes globally and domestically. Furthermore, these positions are always in the cutting-edge technology sector.
