In a recent interview on the BBC, Michael Sheen expressed his opinion that it would be best for Prince Andrew to be removed from the Royal Family. Instead, Sheen suggested that Tom Jones should be brought in. Sheen also criticized certain members of the royal family, referring to them as 'wrong 'uns'.

During his appearance on The Assembly, a BBC One show where a group of 35 individuals with autism, neurodivergence, and learning disabilities conducted the interview, Mr Sheen shared his thoughts.

He explained thoroughly the reasons behind his decision to return his OBE and why he has reservations about the use of the titles Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Assembly was promoted as a program where all topics are welcome and any inquiry is acceptable. Mr. Sheen participated in the show and honestly answered a diverse range of questions, sticking to the promise of the program.

During the interview, Mr. Sheen was asked about his thoughts on the Royals, considering he has been one of the most outspoken critics of the monarchy. Being from Wales, he was also asked about their involvement in the country.

The interview was conducted by a group of 35 individuals who are neurodiverse, autistic or physically disabled and desire to learn. During the episode, he was asked questions about his thoughts on the monarchy.

In the upcoming Amazon Prime series "A Very Royal Scandal," Mr. Sheen will be playing the part of Prince Andrew. While speaking about the show, he revealed that he would like to see comedian Joe Lycett take over the role of Prince Andrew.

In an interview, Mr. Sheen expressed his dissatisfaction with the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales, stating that he found them to be troubling.

During an interview, someone asked Mr. Sheen which two members of the Royal family he would substitute and who would take their place.

He answered by saying that he would remove Andrew and substitute him with Joe Lycett. Additionally, he suggested replacing Camilla with David Attenborough. Moreover, he would appoint Tom Jones as the Prince of Wales.

Mr. Sheen has been confirmed to portray Prince Andrew in the upcoming Amazon Prime show titled 'A Very Royal Scandal'. The series chronicles the Prince's life after his highly criticized 2019 interview with journalist Emily Maitlis.

During another interview, Efan inquired Mr Sheen about the reason behind his decision of returning his OBE. The exceptional actor, who was granted the OBE in 2009 for his outstanding contribution to drama, returned it back in 2017.

According to Mr. Sheen, he was bestowed with the OBE, which he considers as a great distinction. However, he was requested to contribute to the Raymond Williams Lecture, a presentation on Welsh history, a few years later.

While conducting research on the topic, it dawned on me that if I were to deliver a lecture and express the findings I had come across, it would be highly hypocritical for me to possess a title that refers to me as an Officer of the British Empire.

He stated that he has no issue with the concept of the honour system. However, he believed that it wasn't appropriate for him to deliver the talk without returning his OBE.

During the interview, one of the questions posed to Mr. Sheen was regarding his preference between trains and buses. His response was that he favored traveling by buses. Furthermore, he shared a charming anecdote from his youth, noting that he had considered John Taylor from Duran Duran to be the most stunning individual he had ever laid eyes on, whether it be a man or a woman.

Mr Sheen was given an OBE in 2009 for his great contributions to the field of drama. However, he returned the prestigious honor in 2017.

When asked which two members of the Royal family he'd like to swap out, Mr. Sheen made it clear he would choose to replace Prince Andrew with comedian Joe Lycett.

Every year, there is a lecture called the Raymond Williams Lecture which is focused on Welsh identity and culture. The lecture was named after Raymond Williams who was known for his Marxist views.

In 2017, during his speech, Mr Sheen criticized Britain and England for causing the Welsh people to disregard their historical roots. According to him, they advise the Welsh to disregard their history in order to be considered British. He stated that it is better not to teach or discuss history publicly and to ignore it as if it never happened.

After that, Efan inquired Mr. Sheen's thoughts regarding the Royals as a whole.

Mr. Sheen took a moment to gather his thoughts before sharing, "I have always admired the Queen. However, like all groups, there are bound to be a few bad apples and it's apparent there is an issue at hand."

I find it concerning that certain individuals tend to amass a great deal of riches while there are individuals who do not have a place to sleep on the streets.

In previous instances, Mr Sheen has expressed his disagreement towards the designation of Prince of Wales, which he reiterated during his response.

In his statement, he expressed that in his own opinion, the usage of the Prince and Princess of Wales title has a problematic historical background.

The famous individual actively advocates for the Welsh independence movement and in September of 2022, they expressed disapproval towards King Charles III's trip to Wales on September 16th, which is recognized as Owain Glyndŵr day.

On this day in the year 1400, Glyndŵr commenced a rebellion that lasted for 15 years against the reigning monarch of England, Henry IV. His supporters thereafter declared him as the Prince of Wales.

When Mr Sheen visited, he stated that the date chosen was significant because it was the first time the King had visited Wales after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

When questioned about which two members of the Royal family he would switch out and who he would put in their place, Mr Sheen responded that he would choose to replace Queen Camilla with the esteemed and beloved broadcaster David Attenborough.

If he had the power, Mr. Sheen declared that he would bestow the title of Prince of Wales upon Welsh vocalist Tom Jones.

During the month of November in that particular year, Mr Sheen was caught up in a dispute with Prince William. This conflict arose after Mr Sheen spoke out against the Prince of Wales for distributing jerseys to the England team in preparation for the 2022 World Cup, which is set to take place in Qatar.

During his interview, Mr Sheen was questioned on his preference between traveling on trains or buses. He replied that he preferred trains over buses. The actor also shared that he favors eating egg and chips and confessed that during his adolescence, he found John Taylor from Duran Duran to be the most attractive person, regardless of their gender. Mr Sheen is best known for his role in Good Omens.

The Assembly is a television program from the United Kingdom that was inspired by a French production called Les Rencontres du Papotin. This particular program involved the French President Emmanuel Macron and the French actress Camille Cottin answering questions from a group of journalists who have neurodivergent traits.

The program was very successful in France and became one of the most popular television shows in 2022.
