Ex-PM Liz Truss has indicated her backing of the reappearance of Donald Trump in the American presidential office.

Ms Truss praised the United States for their past leadership in defeating the threat of communism from the Soviet Union in an article published by the Wall Street Journal.

She expressed her belief that the world would be better off with more leaders who exemplify the ideal American leadership today.

It is important for the United States to have leaders who are conservative and courageous enough to label hostile governments as malevolent and a danger once again.

I have the wish that a member of the Republican party will take on the position of President of the United States in the year 2024, occupying the White House once again.

The United States requires leaders who adhere to conservative principles and have the courage to openly denounce aggressive governments as both malevolent and perilous.

Donald Trump is currently leading the pack in the pursuit of becoming the Republican nominee for the upcoming presidential election. This may result in a repeat of the previous race for the top seat in the country.

The 2020 election saw Joe Biden, who was representing the Democratic party, emerge as the victorious candidate, defeating his opponent, Mr Trump.

At the moment, a civil fraud trial is ongoing in New York involving Mr. Trump. The allegations against him and his company are that they provided lenders and insurers with financial statements that were greatly exaggerated in terms of asset values and total net worth, spanning the years 2014 to 2021.

This week, Ms. Truss is in Washington with a group from the Conservative Friends of Ukraine.

Last year, due to her mini-budget causing the economy to falter, she was removed from Government after only 49 tumultuous days in Downing Street. As a result, she holds the record for the briefest tenure as Prime Minister in recent British political history.

Ms Truss, who has previously held the position of foreign secretary, recently wrote an article for a US publication. In the article, she advocated for Ukraine to be equipped with the necessary weaponry to decisively defeat Russia.

Furthermore, she expressed a need for increased assistance in terms of defense for Taiwan given the aggressive behavior of China. Additionally, she recommended discarding the nuclear agreement with Iran and enforcing stricter sanctions.

She stated that it is unacceptable to continue providing money to a government that has been financially supporting terrorists and their deadly actions.
