Meet Strictly star Jody Cundy's fiancée here
During an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, he shared that his stepchildren and fiancée danced together in the kitchen. Although he wasn't initially comfortable on the dance floor, he saw them having fun and wished to join them without feeling self-conscious about himself.

Jody has received support from his fiancée during his time on Strictly. He expressed appreciation for Lucy's contribution to his journey, stating that she has been an important figure in ensuring his success. In the second week of the competition, the athlete's relatives were present in the rehearsal room. They observed their loved one alongside Jowita as they prepped the Paso Doble before it was aired live from Elstree Studios.
Jody shared a picture on Instagram of himself, Lucy, and the two children on the ballroom floor. He wrote in the description of the picture: "Today was 'Bring your family to work day' at @bbcstrictly. It was great to spend some time with @lulubo1982 and the kids (Emily and Charlotte). We all watched @jowitaprzystal and my Paso Doble routine to AC/DC's Thunderstruck during the dress rehearsal. We are excited to perform it for a live audience tonight. Let's keep dancing!"

"When Did Jody Cundy Become Engaged?"
Last year, Jody proposed during a visit to New York by kneeling down on one knee. In December 2022, he shared the news of their engagement on Instagram by posting a collection of pictures taken during the trip. One of the snapshots showed the couple happily posing for a selfie on top of the Empire State Building as the sun set behind them, showcasing the stunning skyline views.
Jody wrote in the caption that she spent a few gorgeous days in New York City with @lulubo1982. They caught sight of the Northern Lights during their flight and made an attempt to see as much of the city as they could in the limited amount of time they had. They visited various landmarks such as Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, Brooklyn Bridge, Rockafeller Centre, New York Public Library (despite not seeing any ghosts stacking books), American Museum of Natural history, World Trade Centre and many others.
My journey to the Empire State Building was made even more special when my beloved, Lucy, agreed to be my spouse. She nodded her head in agreement during the golden hour, when the sun was on its way down. It was a few days that I will never forget in a city which is known as the "city that never sleeps".
