Jason Kelce shared that he had punched his younger brother, Travis, who is now a star for the Chiefs, in the face after they played a heated game of one-on-one basketball back in their high school days.

During a conversation with Shaquille O'Neal, the 36-year-old center for the Philadelphia Eagles recollected a memory from his childhood as he spoke about his relationship with Travis, who secured his third Super Bowl victory with Kansas City on Sunday.

The siblings, Kelce, were raised in Westlake, Ohio, which is situated in the vicinity of Cleveland.

When Jason was a guest on the podcast of the NBA superstar who won the championship four times, he explained that he was the elder of the two brothers, making him 'always the bigger one.'

"When I was growing up, I won most of the competitions," he explained. "Later on, when I was a high school junior and Trav was a freshman, he finally started getting taller than me. Despite always being more athletic, I was still ahead of him because he was going through puberty."

Jason Kelce was a guest on Shaq's podcast along with Adam Lefkoe from TNT the day after Super Bowl LVIII.

Jason and Travis were raised in Westlake, a Cleveland suburb, before becoming professional athletes.

The two siblings have gained a reputation for having a strong bond, which was evidenced throughout the playoff season.

"Is he feeling confident?" Shaq asked with a smile.

Once Jason confirmed the situation, he expressed frustration by stating, "I am becoming angry that he is feeling overconfident. While we were in the backyard, he began driving and performing a foolish little hook shot over his shoulder. It wasn't precisely a hook shot, but more like a drive that you would refer to as 'little whatever that's called,' and he managed to make it every time. Unfortunately, I am unable to prevent him from doing so."

Naturally, I ended up using rough tactics on him since that's the only way I know to prevent him from scoring. However, he complains, ''That's not fair, that's against the rules.'' At this point, I retort, ''I don't see any officials monitoring the game. There's no one here to penalize me for it.''

He retrieved the ball and hurled it towards me before making his way inside the house. I found myself feeling angered by his actions, wondering why he had thrown the ball at me. So, I decided to confront him by entering the house and grabbing him by the shoulder before delivering a punch. It wasn't uncommon for us to get into scuffles like this, but it was only the second time I had resorted to violence.

I'm not sure how things escalated to that level. I ended up striking him in the face repeatedly.

Shaq and Adam Lefkoe, the other co-host of the podcast, both expressed their amazement by exclaiming "Wow" and "Damn." Adam Lefkoe is also featured on TNT's Tuesday broadcasts of NBA games during the regular season.

As Jason shared his experience about his recent altercation with his younger sibling, he acknowledged that Travis possessed a natural talent. Attached is a snapshot of Travis showcasing his basketball skills for the team at Cleveland Heights.

Jason and Travis give each other a big hug following the Chiefs' victory against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game.

Between the two Kelce brothers, they have a total of four Super Bowl rings. Jason won one when he played with the Eagles, while Travis has won three in the past five seasons playing with the Chiefs.

Jason mentioned that Travis used to cry or react emotionally whenever he got hit previously. However, this time, things were different.

Jason recounted that Travis punched him and then forcibly lifted him up before slamming him onto the kitchen floor with such force that the oven fell off its support. It was as if the oven was wobbly and unstable.

I woke up to a chaotic scene of a physical altercation. My opponent was none other than my own sibling. Dad intervened, but was unfortunately caught in the middle. Travis pushed me into dad, causing him to cry out in pain. This shocked us out of our fight mode, as we thought we had caused serious harm to our father.

However, that was the final altercation we ever had. It was the last dispute we had. We always had a strong urge to outdo each other in everything. Moreover, Travis possessed exceptional athletic abilities that were evident at every stage. Do you comprehend what I'm saying?

Shaq complimented the positive influence that the brawl had on the Kelce siblings, stating that the circumstances helped shape his identity.
