Grand National 2024 Runners: Who to Watch Out For

The Grand National is the ultimate challenge for both horses and jockeys. Set to take place in 2024, we can already get excited about some of the potential runners. One of the favorites is Cloth Cap, who won the 2021 National with ease. Trained by Jonjo O'Neill and ridden by Tom Scudamore, Cloth Cap showed his endurance and stamina on the course, finishing 10 lengths ahead of his rivals. It will be exciting to see if he can repeat that performance in 2024.

Another horse to keep an eye on is Burrows Saint, trained by Willie Mullins. He has already proven himself by winning the 2019 Irish Grand National. He was ruled out of the 2021 Grand National due to a late injury, but he is expected to compete in 2024. With a strong record and an experienced jockey, Burrows Saint can definitely be a contender.

The Dark Horses

Of course, the Grand National always has a few surprises up its sleeve. One potential dark horse to watch out for is Present Chief, who has put in some impressive performances over long distances. Another outsider is Braveheart, who has won two of his three hurdle races and is expected to transition well to the fences. It's always exciting to see new horses make their mark on the Grand National course, and there's no telling who will come out on top in 2024.

As the event draws closer, more and more runners will be announced, and the excitement will only grow. The Grand National always provides some of the most thrilling moments in horse racing, and 2024 is sure to be no exception.
