Despegar.Com, Corp. Appoints Mr. Amit Singh as Chief Financial Officer, Effective August 21, 2023

Despegar.com, Corp. made known that Mr. Amit Singh has been named as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), starting from August 21, 2023. Mr. Singh brings ample expertise in financial matters and capital markets to Despegar. He will hold the responsibility of supervising Despegar's Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury operations, as well as managing Investor Relations.

He will be under the supervision of Damián Scokin, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Singh joins Despegar with a wealth of finance expertise, having served as the CFO of AgileThought, a multinational company specializing in digital transformation and tailor-made software solutions, which is listed on the Nasdaq. Prior to this role, Mr. Singh held the position of Head of Finance for the United States and was the Global Head of Investor Relations at Globant S.A. Moreover, Mr. Singh has assumed various positions within renowned investment banks, primarily focusing on analyzing technology companies as an equity research analyst.

Mr. Singh has earned a prestigious degree in business administration from the esteemed Kellogg School of Management situated at Northwestern University. Alongside this, he has also attained a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the renowned University of Maryland. Additionally, he successfully accomplished an executive education program tailored for top financial officers at the esteemed Harvard Business School.
