English Football League seeks doc partner
The EFL is asking for proposals from interested parties to create, distribute, and market a documentary series about the league.
The plan is to create a documentary series that will focus on either the 2025/26 or 2026/27 season.
The EFL oversees the Championship, League 1, and League 2 as well as The Carabao Cup and The Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
The show will showcase the exciting matches and intense competitions of the EFL, as well as help Member Clubs gain international recognition by focusing on the teams, players, and communities within the league.
The offer allows production partners full access to some of the most thrilling and unpredictable competitions in international soccer.
The request is looking for collaborators who can manage the "creation and delivery" and who can "show innovative methods that highlight the captivating and varied stories of English soccer, as well as increase worldwide participation and interest in the EFL."
Participants are being requested to think about "money earned, exclusive content and products, sharing of work, visibility and promotion."
The Chief Commercial Officer of EFL, Ben Wright, stated that this is an amazing chance for production partners to have unique access to some of the most thrilling and unpredictable football competitions in the world.
The EFL offers many chances to tell stories, and with our clubs and competitions, there is a wide range of possibilities for creating a documentary series. This is an excellent chance to highlight our clubs and competitions on an international level.
Those who are interested in placing bids must submit their answers before 5pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
