I tried Costa Coffee's autumn menu and I want it to stay

Despite the fact that the sun has shown up this week, we're getting nearer to the snug autumn and winter periods.

So, Costa Coffee just released their autumn menu for 2023 and I thought I'd check it out.

The café company often introduces special menus to match different times of the year. For this particular year, they brought back the Maple Hazel line, but with some fresh things included.

This is my opinion on Costa Coffee's autumn menu for the year 2023.

As an individual who typically dislikes the flavor of nuts in their cuisine or beverages, I held some interest in giving it a shot. I cherish the opportunity to experiment with novel food and drink options, so I felt eager to try it out.

I was pleasantly taken by surprise by Costa Coffee's autumn offerings and I plan on going back there again to indulge in their fall-themed products before the Christmas range is added to their menu.

If you're looking for a snack that doesn't weigh you down, try the Hog Roast Toastie. It's especially satisfying during the colder months, when you're in need of some comfort food.

This delicious grilled sandwich is created with bloomer bread that is topped with garlic and herbs. It is then filled with hickory pulled pork, spiced apple glaze, caramelised onion chutney, sage and onion stuffing and oak-smoked cheddar cheese.

I found it quite enjoyable to try out this dish because of the rich taste it provided me with. It brought back fond memories of having a traditional Sunday roast with my loved ones, specifically because of the distinct flavor of the sage and onion stuffing.

I decided to sample the Maple Hazel Muffin and was taken aback by its delicate texture and unexpected maple syrup center.

The portion was satisfactory and although it contained petite seeds, it was enjoyable enough for me to consider having it again. However, I wouldn't eagerly prioritize getting it.

To be honest, I really enjoy getting a Frappé from Costa Coffee. However, I wasn't confident about trying the Maple Hazel variety since I wasn't certain if it would be just as tasty as the other choices on their menu.

I had a taste of both the Chocolate Hazel Frappé and the Maple Hazel Frappé, but I preferred the latter one.

The Maple Hazel Frappé was absolutely heavenly! It boasts a rich roasted hazelnut flavour syrup and delicious maple sauce, topped with fluffy whipped cream and autumn-themed biscuit crumbles.

I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful nutty taste in this beverage and truly savored it.

In my opinion, the frappés that are usually offered throughout the year were given an interesting twist in this particular case.

I didn't quite enjoy the Chocolate Maple Frappé because it had more chocolate taste and less of the maple flavor.

With that being stated, I believe it would be a beneficial choice for individuals who desire to experience the menu but have reservations about the maple and hazelnut tastes.

Since I don't consume tea or coffee (which might sound surprising), and I'm fond of hot chocolate, I had to give the Maple Hazel Hot Chocolate a go.

Just like the Maple Hazel Frappé, the hot chocolate has a syrup with a roasted hazelnut flavour and some maple sauce added to it. Additionally, it's finished off with whipped cream and some biscuit crunch that's perfect for the fall season.

Even though the taste was not overpowering, the maple flavors complemented the hot chocolate nicely.

As the chillier fall climate returns, I will be opting for this hot chocolate as my latest preferred choice.

To put it briefly, I will feel unhappy when Costa Coffee's seasonal menu is no longer available, and I can only wish for its comeback in the near future.
