NFL enthusiasts were delighted with a special Christmas gift when Beyoncé took the stage for the halftime performance during Netflix's NFL Christmas Gameday event.
This year, the streaming platform will feature two Christmas matchups: one between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and another between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans.
The pop icon, who has won 32 Grammy Awards, made her entrance at NRG Stadium in her native Houston during the second game. She is 43 years old.
In a groundbreaking event, she took the stage to present live performances of songs from her new album, Cowboy Carter. The set featured a mix of tracks such as “16 Carriages,” “Blackbird,” “Levii’s Jeans,” and “Texas Hold’Em.” She also invited special guests Shaboozey and Post Malone to join her. Her daughter, Blue Ivy, was one of the dancers on stage.
Beyoncé is well-acquainted with the NFL spotlight. She was the main performer at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013 and also joined Coldplay as a special guest during their halftime performance in 2016.
On Christmas Day, there were also some great performances, including a pre-recorded version of Mariah Carey's hit song "All I Want for Christmas Is You" before the first game. Additionally, the Grammy-winning a cappella group Pentatonix performed the national anthem at the second game.
Stay tuned for real-time updates below.

Travis Kelce has set a new record for the Kansas City Chiefs, but this time, Taylor Swift wasn't there to cheer him on.
On Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25), the Chiefs faced off against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium, finishing with a score of 29 to 10, marking the Chiefs' 15th victory of the season.
