TV broadcasters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford announce divorce
According to a representative for the pair, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford of TV hosting fame will be ending their marriage and getting a divorce.
The duo, who formerly co-hosted This Morning on ITV, tied the knot in 2010 and are parents to a son.
According to the spokesperson, the pair have affirmed that their union has ended and they are presently going through a divorce.
Holmes, who is 64 years old, began working at GB News in 2021. Meanwhile, Langsford, who is also 64 years old, makes frequent appearances on the ITV show Loose Women as a panel member.
They started co-hosting This Morning back in 2006 and departed from the program in 2021. Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond took over their spots following their departure.
Holmes had three kids through his initial union with Gabrielle Holmes, whom he wedded back in 1985.
Holmes and Langsford have hosted several television shows on Channel 5, such as How The Other Half Lives, Do The Right Thing With Eamonn And Ruth, and Eamonn And Ruth's 7 Year Itch.
In the 2018 New Year Honours List, Holmes received an OBE for his contributions to broadcasting.
