TV broadcasters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford announce divorce
A representative for the couple, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, has verified that they are ending their marriage. The two well-known TV hosts will be separating.
The duo, who formerly hosted This Morning on ITV, tied the knot in 2010 and now have a child.
According to the spokesperson, the couple has stated that they are no longer together and are currently going through the process of obtaining a divorce.
Holmes, who is currently 64 years old, became a member of GB News last year, while Langsford, also 64, is a frequent member of the panel on ITV's Loose Women.
They initially started co-hosting This Morning in the year 2006 and then departed from the programme in 2021. Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond took over as their replacements.
Holmes was previously wedded to Gabrielle Holmes, whom he united with in 1985. During their union, he fathered three children.
Holmes and Langsford hosted various shows on Channel 5 such as How The Other Half Lives, Do The Right Thing With Eamonn And Ruth and Eamonn And Ruth's 7 Year Itch.
In the list of honours for the New Year of 2018, Holmes was awarded an OBE in recognition of his contributions to broadcasting.
