According to Luis Enrique, the current timing is ideal for Paris St Germain to compete against Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Enrique's team journeyed to Germany for the first leg on Wednesday after being crowned the champions of France last weekend. They have also secured a spot in the Coupe de France final against Lyon.

The football club from the capital city has yet to win the Champions League, but they have a good opportunity to do so before Kylian Mbappe leaves in the upcoming summer.

Enrique expressed that they are working towards continuous improvement and what they have achieved so far is just the beginning phase of their project. He mentioned that their performance levels have steadily gotten better and with only a month left in the season, they are still in the running for every competition.

This competition is the largest in Europe, and with only four teams remaining, all are capable of advancing to the final. As a result, we must regulate our emotions, cope with the stress, and perform at our best.

We shouldn't feel intimidated by the pressure. In fact, I believe this is the ideal moment for us to face it, given the current stage of our season.

These two teams have encountered each other in this tournament earlier in the season, after successfully progressing from a challenging group that included AC Milan and Newcastle in the previous year.

PSG won 2-0 when they played against Dortmund in France, but when the game was played in Germany, it ended in a 1-1 tie.

Nonetheless, according to Goncalo Ramos, a Portuguese forward player, the team has made progress since that time.

In my opinion, our team is more unified compared to the last time we faced them, as we have had ample time to collaborate and get acquainted with one another, according to his statement.

Before this season, many new players joined the club who had no prior experience of playing together. However, at present, the team has become like a family with a strong bond. When we last played, we faced injuries leading to an incomplete team, but now we have a complete and fit team.

PSG's team will be missing only Presnel Kimpembe and Sergio Rico since they won't be able to make it.

The team PSG is most likely to win the match, and Dortmund's coach Edin Terzic acknowledged that his team needs to make the most of playing at home during the first leg if they want a better possibility of reaching Wembley.

Terzic stated that their goal is to have two tightly contested matches. Playing at home give them a chance to secure a favorable outcome. Their aim is to gain a slight edge that will benefit them when they travel to Paris.

In order to make our big dream of making it to the final come true, we have to give our best performance for a total of 180 minutes. This will take place firstly in Dortmund and then in Paris next week.

Terzic won't have Ramy Bensebaini or Julien Duranville present, and he needs to confirm Marcel Sabitzer's health status due to illness. Additionally, he's unsure if Donyell Malen and Sebastien Haller will be able to play as they recover from injuries. However, the coach expressed optimism that both players will be able to participate.

"We're going to come up with a strategy designed to take them down," he said. "By playing with a fast pace and putting pressure on them, we can create plenty of opportunities to score against Paris. That's what we're focused on achieving."

There are going to be two games that are quite close. The advantage of close games is that you have the possibility of being victorious.
