Millie Bobby Brown has announced that she tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi in a private event earlier this week.

The performer from Strangers Things, aged 20, and a fashion model, aged 22, have been connected romantically since the year 2021. They confirmed their plans to wed in April.

Brown and Bongiovi were seen in public for the first time after reports of their marriage in the Hamptons on Friday, May 24th. They happily showed their gold wedding bands to photographers.

According to a report from People, Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot in a low-key celebration over the weekend. The guest list consisted of their dearest friends and family, which included model's dad Jon Bon Jovi. The ceremony was kept under wraps, and only those close to the couple were present.

Back in April of 2023, the star of Stranger Things, who was 19 at the time, let her fans know she was engaged to Bongiovi through a black and white photo on Instagram. The photo was accompanied by lyrics from Taylor Swift's song "Lover".

"I have adored you for three summer seasons, my dear, and I desire to spend all of them with you," she penned.

After two months had passed, the pair celebrated their engagement in a small gathering, taking pictures in front of heart-shaped white balloons and a flashy sign that read “Mr & Mrs Bongiovi.” It was a private affair that only involved close friends and family.

The announcement of their engagement happened almost 24 months after they publicly acknowledged their relationship by posting a picture of themselves together in June of 2021.

During an interview with The Sunday Times, Brown shared some details about the process of organizing her wedding and disclosed that her partner, who is aspiring to be a musician, asked for her hand in marriage with a ring passed down from her mother, Kelly.
