The department within the Greater Manchester Police responsible for handling complaints against police officers is currently reviewing a video showing armed officers responding to an incident that occurred on Tuesday.

A video shot on a cell phone seems to capture a police officer with a taser kicking a man in the face and then stomping on his head while the man is on the ground with his arms down.

He is crouching on top of the suspect while a woman yells at the police to halt their actions.

The officer aimed a taser at another man with his hands behind his head. The officer seemed to strike the man on the back of his neck, causing him to fall to the floor.

Greater Manchester Police later reported that a female officer had suffered a fractured nose, while three other officers were attacked in a violent manner.

In a press release, the police department stated that they were notified about a conflict among people at Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport.

While trying to detain one of the individuals involved in the previous fight, three police officers were violently attacked and punched to the ground.

"A woman police officer endured a fractured nose and all three individuals were transported to the hospital for medical care."

The announcement also mentioned that because the officers present were armed with firearms, there was a significant danger of their weapons being stolen during the assault.

"Four individuals were taken into custody at the location for causing a public disturbance and physically attacking workers from the emergency services."

"We understand the issues raised regarding the behavior in the video, and our team is currently investigating this matter."
