ITV launches ReLoved eBay marketplace

ITV

ITV has joined forces with eBay and PropUp Project, a charity organization that focuses on finding new homes and reselling props and other items used in movies and TV shows. Together, they have created ITV ReLoved, an authorized eBay platform for buying and selling these items.

ITV ReLoved is giving fans the opportunity to buy a variety of props, costumes, furniture, and other items used on popular ITV shows like Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The ITV ReLoved store gives a new purpose to these items and helps ITV decrease waste, with all profits going to charity. The marketplace offers a range of one-of-a-kind items for purchase, such as Judge Rinder’s Crime Stories desk and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’s Read My Lips Stool, as well as Emmerdale character Mandy Dingle’s jumper from the show’s 10,000th episode and signed memorabilia from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! New items will be added regularly.

Customers can also buy basic household items like dishes, decorations for their home, and clothes from the clothing section.

Phil Holdgate, who is in charge of making sure ITV Studios is sustainable, said: "We're very excited to officially start the ITV ReLoved eBay store. This is a way for us to reduce waste by finding new homes for things that ITV doesn't need anymore but are still in good condition. Working together with partners like eBay and PropUp Project has been great. Everyone has been really enthusiastic about this idea since we first talked about it earlier this year, and the feedback has been really positive. The ITV ReLoved store also lets our viewers buy items from their favorite shows. And, since ITV's profits are going to charity, there are many benefits to this project."

Emma Chaplin, one of the people who started the PropUp Project, explained, "We created the PropUp Project to address the problem of waste in the entertainment industry. We are passionate about making sure that props, sets, and costumes that are no longer needed are not thrown away, but instead are given a new purpose. As a small non-profit organization, we are thrilled to be working with ITV and eBay on this important initiative. We are excited to announce the opening of the ReLoved store - where you can find items like dresses worn by TV stars, furniture from famous sets, and souvenirs from popular shows like Coronation Street. Visit the ITV ReLoved store today for a unique shopping experience."
