ITV announces Tonight election leader interviews series - Prolific North

ITV is carrying on with its election coverage by presenting a range of programmes called The Leader Interviews – Tonight. These programmes will showcase all the major political parties in Great Britain.

Made by Multistory Media, a unit of ITV Studios, and ITV News, these 30-minute shows will provide a closer look into every leader's existence, starting from their private lives to their political proposals and preferences.

On June 6 at 8:30 PM, the initial show will air on both ITV1 and ITVX and it will showcase Sir Ed Davey, the leader of the Liberal Democrats.

The Scottish Green Party's co-leader Patrick Harvie will also appear on the show on STV and ITV1 Border Scotland. Meanwhile, the interview in Wales will focus solely on the Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth.

On Wednesday June 12 at 7pm, Tory party leader Rishi Sunak will be on ITV's interview program, hosted by Paul Brand, for the second time. Sunak will be discussing his latest manifesto promises and priorities during the interview.

On Monday, June 24 at 7pm, there will be a lineup of other leaders from different political parties, such as Richard Tice from Reform UK and Carla Denyer, who is the co-leader of the Green Party. Additionally, each nation will have its own set of leaders featured. For instance, on STV and ITV1 Border Scotland, there will be a complete interview with the SNP leader, John Swinney.

On Thursday June 27, at 8.30pm, the final episode of the show will have Paul Brand conducting an interview with Sir Keir Starmer, the leader of the Labour party. The show will focus on discussing the policies of their party. You can watch this episode on ITV1. All of the episodes in this series will also be available to watch on STV & STV Player, with the highlighted National interviews.
