Only a few hours after dropping his latest album, For All The Dogs, the artist who has won multiple Grammy awards revealed that he has been battling with stomach troubles for years.

On his radio program last Friday, he disclosed that he might not create any music for a while.

After his announcement, many scheduled shows have been rescheduled to a later date.

The rapper of Hotline Bling expressed that he has to give priority to his well-being, and he will discuss it in the upcoming time.

Not anything too extreme, but I simply desire for individuals to maintain good health throughout their lives. I have been experiencing severe gastrointestinal issues for a number of years now.

"I'll be shutting the studio door for a short while," he announced during his show Table For One on SiriusXM.

I have no idea what a small amount of time is. It could be roughly a year, or perhaps a little more than that.

Afterwards, he shared a recording from the radio show on his Instagram account and informed his 143 million fans: "We'll reunite at another time."

He has planned to give musical performances in his hometown, Toronto, on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

The website's tour section has announced that performances planned for later have been delayed.

He was scheduled to do shows in Denver, New Orleans, Nashville, and Columbus, Ohio.

Drake has decided to take a break due to health concerns, following in the footsteps of other musicians who have done the same in recent times. Some have even cancelled tour dates altogether.

Madonna stated in July that she would delay her tour for three months. The cause of the delay was due to her being hospitalized for a severe bacterial infection the previous month.

Bruce Springsteen shared last month that he would be delaying his tour dates scheduled for September because of a peptic ulcer. A peptic ulcer is a sore in the stomach lining or small intestine.

At 36 years of age, Drake has emerged as one of the most popular figures in the world of hip hop.

His newest album's artwork was created by his young five-year-old son, who even makes an appearance in the music video for his latest single 8AM in Charlotte.

He released a collection of poems in book form earlier this year.
