The rap artist from Canada announced that he'll take a break from creating music for approximately a year since his health requires his undivided attention.

He made the declaration at the same time as the debut of his latest music album, which contains a track showcasing his young child Adonis rapping along. Adonis is just five years old.

On a SiriusXM show called Table for One, Drake announced that he will take a break from making music for a while.

Honestly, I want to be sincere with you. It's important for me to prioritize my health above all, and I'll touch on that topic in the near future.

It's not anything too extreme, to be honest. My main concern is for individuals to maintain good health and well-being. However, I have been dealing with some rather challenging stomach issues for quite some time now. With that said, I simply want to be transparent about my personal situation.

Therefore, it's crucial that I prioritize my well-being and make necessary changes to achieve optimal health. Once I achieve my desired level of fitness, I can shift my attention to other important aspects of my life.

"I have decided to close the studio door for a while. I am not exactly sure how long that will be - perhaps a year or even beyond that."

On Friday, Drake put out his ninth album called For All The Dogs.

The album has a total of 23 songs and includes other popular rappers like 21 Savage, J. Cole, and Lil Yachty. Additionally, Drake's son Adonis joins the mix and raps on the track Daylight.

Drake chose to use a drawing made by his son as the cover art for For All The Dogs. In addition, his son Adonis is prominently featured in the music video for the single 8am In Charlotte. This single was released at the same time as the album.
