Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United LIVE: Updates from Selhurst Park as Bruno Guimaraes starts
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Newcastle United's trip to Crystal Palace. The Magpies are hoping to keep the pressure on the chasing pack in the hunt for a top four spot.
Newcastle arrive in the capital on the back of a hard-fought win over Fulham last weekend, with the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on the horizon too. Patrick Vieira's men will be buoyed by a decent midweek result against Manchester United after snatching a late point off the Red Devils.
Howe has a few decisions to make in his starting line-up with Bruno Guimaraes a doubt for the game following last week's ankle injury. Kieran Trippier may also miss out. In attack, there will be no Chris Wood to call on off the bench after his move to Nottingham Forest was finalised.
We will bring you team news, live updates, analysis and reaction right here throughout the afternoon,

Wilfried Zaha has an opportunity to back up Rio Ferdinand's claim the Crystal Palace playmaker should join Newcastle United amid contract uncertainty at Selhurst Park. The Eagles forward is out of contract this summer and has been tipped with a move to a club pushing for European football
"If I am Newcastle, I would buy him [Zaha] straight off. I would take him, and I would sell Saint-Maximin," Ferdinand said last year on his Vibe With Five YouTube channel.
"Or I would have them both. He scores more than Saint-Maximin. Keep Saint-Maximin or whatever, but Wilfried Zaha at Newcastle is a problem."
