MrBeast's co-host Ava Kris Tyson quits YouTube channel and denies grooming allegations

Ava Kris Tyson, a close friend and partner of popular YouTuber MrBeast, has decided to leave the channel following accusations of grooming, which she has denied.

The 28-year-old online content creator was recently accused of sending inappropriate messages to a young person, said to be 13 years old, when she was 20 years old.

Tyson, who has rejected the accusations, stated that she and her team have chosen to part ways with MrBeast and social media in order to prioritize her family and mental well-being.

"I want to say sorry if anything I did or said in the past upset or hurt anyone. That was not what I meant to do," she explained.

Tyson said, "I never manipulated anyone. The individual mentioned in these accusations has openly stated that they are not true."

With that being said, I sincerely apologize to anyone who has been harmed by my inappropriate social media posts and past behaviors, as well as to those who may feel disappointed by my previous online behavior.

Combining these two factors to create a story that my actions went beyond inappropriate jokes is outrageous and untrue.

Over the years, I've come to realize that my previous sense of humor was not appropriate. While I can't erase my past actions, I am committed to improving myself moving forward.

I don't want these allegations to affect the many people who are employed at MrBeast, that's why I have decided to distance myself from the situation.

The accusations were first brought to light in a video on YouTube that was posted last month.

The person who was said to be the victim and was identified online, stated that the videos accusing Tyson of grooming him are completely false and distorting the reality.

Ava always behaved appropriately and only made some bold jokes. I was never mistreated or used unfairly," he explained.

This situation deprives children who are regularly being taken advantage of on the internet. I am not personally affected by the accusations in these videos or in any way.

In 2023, Tyson revealed that she is transgender and had begun using hormone therapy to affirm her gender identity. She has been frequently targeted with hateful comments and harassment online because of her transgender identity.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has yet to make a statement regarding the accusations.
