She is best known for her tenure as a radio DJ on BBC Radio 1. She hosted the breakfast show and the late-night show before leaving the broadcasting station in 2003. However, she continued to work in radio and television, hosting shows such as "The Great Pottery Throwdown," "Love in the Countryside," and "Back in Time for School."

Personal Life and Charity Work

Apart from her media career, Sara Cox is also a proud mother of three children, born in 2004, 2008, and 2020, respectively. She is married to her second husband, Ben Cyzer. The couple tied the knot in June 2013.

Cox is also highly involved in charity work. She is an ambassador for both Crisis, a charity dedicated to ending homelessness in the UK, and the Woodland Trust, an organization that aims to protect the country's woodlands and trees.
