Wife of Repair Shop TV star Jay Blades sobs 'I don't believe this is real' after announcing split

The partner of Jay Blades, who presents The Repair Shop on television, expressed her disbelief upon declaring that they had ended their relationship. She stated that she found it difficult to accept the reality of the situation.

On Thursday, Lisa Marie Zbozen, who is 43 years old, shared a heart-wrenching video on social media, where she can be heard crying uncontrollably.

The pair tied the knot in Barbados back in November of 2022. However, Ms. Zbozen, who works as a fitness coach, has disclosed that she and her husband were unable to maintain their relationship.

Ms Zbozen posted a video on Instagram where she attempted to accomplish a task for the 40th time without shedding any tears.

I cannot fathom the reality of this situation. My love for my spouse is immeasurable and I have made tremendous efforts to maintain our relationship. I had an intense desire for our relationship to work, but despite my best efforts, I always fell short.

Ms Zbozen expressed her gratitude towards everyone who has sent her reading materials. She mentioned that it has been truly useful, as reading allows her mind to flip through memories instead of being solely focused on facts.

She said: "Take deep breaths. We can only take things one day at a time. Although I have a reason to be mad, I am only feeling upset."

Ms Zbozen is the second spouse of BBC celebrity Blades and images of their wedding in Barbados were showcased in Hello! magazine.

Blades declared that he will be taking a break from social media for the time being on Tuesday. This decision was made following the passing of his uncle, Richard Brathwaite, aged 72. Brathwaite was reportedly stabbed by a neighbour in Wembley, located in the North of London, on the 21st of March.

Blades, who is 54 years old, was honored with an MBE in 2021. He had the opportunity to attend the Coronation as he shared a common interest in craftsmanship with the King. This shared passion helped them connect with each other.

Making an announcement on Thursday, Ms Zbozen declared that she parted ways from her spouse over the past weekend and "the emotions are still very fresh".

She continued, "I desired my spouse to shower love and protect me, and in return, I would show him love too. However, the situation only deteriorated with time and reached a point where I couldn't take it anymore. So, I gathered a few essentials and departed from there."

Ms Zbozen is a fitness coach who operates an app called The Wkout that provides personalized workout plans upon request.
