The warm spells of late autumn have come to an end, and now temperatures are dropping into the low 40s. Everyone is in a hurry to bring out their winter gear. With snow on the way, I find myself wishing I had chosen to live on a tropical beach rather than in one of the snowiest cities in the continental U.S.

Each day, I use Wordle Bot to review my guessing game strategies. You can also analyze your own Wordle games with Wordle Bot by clicking here.
My experience with SPIRE didn't begin so well. I was left with 156 words to play with (which could have been a lot worse), but I also had just one yellow box available (which could have been much better). ADMIN made some adjustments and managed to reduce my word count to just 8. I took a shot at the word TUNIC because I've always had a fondness for tunics; to me, they seemed like a must-have item for anyone in the Medieval era. After all, knights wore tunics! Huzzah!
I earn one point for making a correct guess in three attempts, and I don't score any points if I end up with the same result as the Wordle Bot. I'm happy to finally get a point after several days of not scoring!

The term "tunic" originates from the Latin word "tunica," which was a popular piece of clothing in Ancient Rome. Its roots probably extend back to the Greek word "thynakē," referring to a kind of linen attire. The word made its way into English via Old French during the Middle Ages and has gradually come to describe a loose, long top that is worn in different cultures.
