The Wireless festival has revealed that it will end ahead of schedule on Sunday evening, allowing participants ample time to make their way back from Finsbury Park and catch the Euro 2024 final match featuring England.

The London music event, featuring Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage, announced that the last day would end at 7pm. This disappointed many people with tickets, as they had been told earlier that Flo Milli, Veeze, Tyla, and Digga D would no longer be performing.

The England soccer team will play against Spain in the final game of the tournament at 8pm on Sunday, 14 July. This game was originally going to overlap with rapper Doja Cat's headline performance, but the schedule has now been changed.

Wireless festival has revealed in an Instagram post that the Rockstar Energy presents Wireless event will end at 7:00pm on Sunday, July 14th, to allow attendees enough time to get home and watch the EURO final between England and Spain. The schedule for performances will be made available later today.

On Friday, Nicki Minaj will end her performance at 10:20 pm, and on Saturday, 21 Savage will finish at 10:15 pm. For Wireless on Sunday, the final entry will now be at 7 pm, with the event ending at 9:30 pm.

Numerous people who had tickets expressed their disappointment with the change in schedule on Instagram. One individual wondered why the event couldn't just be shown on the large screens at the venue. They believed it would have created a great atmosphere and accused the organizers of ruining the experience.

"Am I going to receive a refund?" inquired another person with a ticket. "I paid for a whole day on Sunday, but now two of the main acts have been removed for a football game of a team I'm not a fan of. Can I get my money back?"

"Are you kidding me?" another person questioned. "We spent a lot of money for a 7pm deadline and 2 performers who didn't show up? I'm in disbelief."

The announcement was made by comedian John Bishop that he will be changing the date of his upcoming show at The Halls in Wolverhampton in order to attend the Euro 2024 final match on Sunday and support England.

The comedian said he would give back money to anyone who couldn't make it to the new show date. He also said he was sticking with his choice to change the time of his performance.

"We will definitely change the time to Sunday afternoon," he mentioned. "I won't be able to do it at eight o’clock because I will be occupied watching those boys."
