This Fourth of July will be one to remember for Vanessa Hudgens, who recently welcomed her first baby.

The former star of High School Musical was spotted exiting a medical facility in Santa Monica on July 3, as reported by TMZ. Images acquired by the publication show the performer being wheeled out to her vehicle while carrying a infant in her arms, her husband, Cole Tucker, standing nearby.

The baby's name or sex has not been disclosed yet.

The actress from The Princess Switch showed off her growing belly for the first time this year while co-hosting a show about the Oscars at the famous Dolby Theatre in LA. This exciting announcement happened just three months after she tied the knot with a former baseball player from the Colorado Rockies team.

Fans had thought she might be pregnant in October 2023, but she said it wasn't true while posting pictures from her bachelorette party in Aspen, Colorado.

When another person commented, "Why does she appear to be pregnant to me or like she's trying to cover up a bump," the former High School Musical co-star responded: "I'm not pregnant, so everyone can stop speculating."

Hudgens and Tucker first crossed paths during the Covid-19 outbreak, when they connected during an online meditation session led by Joe Jonas in 2020. Their budding romance became public when they were seen hand in hand, and they eventually confirmed their relationship on social media. Two years later, in December 2022, they happily shared the news of their engagement.

In September of 2022, Hudgens talked about her desire to have children in an interview with Nylon magazine. She mentioned that she had originally planned to be married by age 25, since that was the age her mother got married. However, when that didn't happen, she adjusted her timeline accordingly.

"I used to believe that I would want to have children around the age of 36 or 37, and that is still my plan. I am not feeling rushed about it at all."

A few actors she used to work with on Disney Channel movies have shared their thoughts about her pregnancy in recent months.

Zac Efron, who acted alongside Vanessa Hudgens and dated her from 2005 to 2010, was questioned at the debut of his latest movie, A Family Affair, about his thoughts on Hudgens expecting her first child and Ashley Tisdale expecting her second child.

He said he was sure they would be great parents. He told Access Hollywood, "They will be the greatest mothers. Those girls? They will be amazing parents. We will have some enjoyable family gatherings in the future."

During a recent Q & A session on her Instagram stories in May, Tisdale, who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Christopher French, was also questioned about sharing her pregnancy journey with Hudgens.

"How amazing is it that both you and Vanessa are expecting babies at the same time?!" the inquiry said, to which Tisdale responded, "It's really exciting! I can't wait to see what this new chapter in her life brings."

The couple who recently became parents have not yet shared the news of their baby's arrival on social media. However, Hudgens did post a heartfelt message to celebrate Tucker's 28th birthday on July 3rd. In her Instagram post, she shared several photos of them together and wrote, "Wishing a happy birthday to my beloved @cotuck. You bring so much light to the world just by being yourself."
