During an initial visual examination, it was discovered by Pilar Bernabe, the Valencia region's official representative for the central government, that ten corpses had been located within the structure, as reported to the press.

According to El Pais, a father, mother, three-year-old girl, and a newborn baby who were all related, were amongst the four individuals who suffered from the tragedy.
