West Ham are said to have come to a deal with Leeds to bring in Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville, which will be a positive development for manager Julen Lopetegui. This news comes from multiple sources.

Discussions have been happening for a potential agreement with the forward player, who still has two years left on his current deal at Elland Road. He originally joined the team in a cost-effective £1.3m transfer four years ago.

It was mentioned before that the Hammers were considering backing out of negotiations because they thought the cost, estimated to be around £35m - £40m, was too high.

Nevertheless, the two clubs have finally reached an agreement after negotiations advanced to the acceptance phase towards the end of Wednesday, according to David Ornstein's report.

Summerville really wants to make it back to the Premier League, as Leeds didn't make it to promotion after losing to Southampton in the play-off final last season.

West Ham have supposedly come to a deal with Leeds to acquire Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville.

Summerville is expected to sign a five-year deal at the London Stadium.

The 22-year-old has officially agreed to the terms and is ready to sign a five-year deal with West Ham. The club is looking to secure the player for an extended period in London.

The Hammers are currently in the United States for their pre-season training, and Summerville will have his medical examination in England before joining his new teammates.

Summerville, a player who has represented the Netherlands in youth international competitions, was one of the standout performers in the Championship last season. However, he was not selected to play for his country in the Euro 2024 tournament.

He has played in 89 games for Leeds and scored 25 times, with 12 assists to his name as well. Last season, he scored 20 goals in the Championship.

The manager of West Ham, Julen Lopetegui, has been eager to sign new players during the transfer period.

Brighton reached out to Summerville last month. Summerville won the title of Championship Player of the Season last year for his standout performances, even though Leeds did not succeed in getting promoted.

At the moment, Lopetegui is trying to introduce his own way of playing to the top players at West Ham during their time in the United States. He took over as head coach from David Moyes at the end of the previous season.

The ex-Wolves coach recently mentioned in West Ham's pre-season plan: 'We are here to put in the work, so we are attempting to implement our style. We are striving to showcase our brand of football.'

We have been missing some players due to the Euro and Copa America tournaments, but gradually we are adding more players to the team. This is a crucial moment for us and we are eager to have the entire group together as soon as possible so we can begin working towards our goals.

Mail Sport has learned that negotiations with Borussia Dortmund regarding Niclas Fullkrug are moving forward, with a agreement believed to be near.

He is also reportedly scheduled for a medical examination and could also potentially be added to the team during their time in the US.
