The Alexandra Palace has been hosting the professional event for 8 years, however, the seven-time champion expressed his dislike for the historic venue.

The candid celebrity of the snooker table mentioned that it caused him to have a feeling of nausea and discomfort, as well as making him nervous.

However, according to the hosts, both players and supporters have shown an overwhelmingly positive reaction and it is disheartening to hear that O'Sullivan has a different perspective.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with Ally Pally, O'Sullivan stated: "I have an aversion to this venue.

I'm grossed out. Every place is unclean. It's chilly.

I'm so cold that I have to wear my coat all the time.

As you travel through parking lots, you can spot waste receptacles.

To be frank, it makes me feel really sick. I am quite obsessed with cleanliness, so when I enter this space, it sends shivers down my spine.

"I am eagerly looking forward to leaving this place."

The organization responsible for the World Snooker Tour promptly addressed O'Sullivan's remarks and emphasized that all the other players have expressed their satisfaction with the venue without any dissenting opinions.

They stated that they collaborate with Alexandra Palace to ensure optimal conditions for gamers both on and off the gaming surface.

Everyone else who took part has expressed their approval of the location. Supporters really enjoy visiting this place. This is emphasized by the unprecedented number of tickets sold, as all the usual entry tickets were already sold out for this year's tournament.

In the past few years, our venue has received a lot of great feedback which we have appreciated. However, we are saddened to hear that Ronnie has a different view on things.

It is our sincere desire to alter his perspective and for him to relish the remainder of the tournament whilst being here.
