Kensington Palace has made it known that Princess Kate of Wales will resume her royal duties after the Easter celebrations. This news comes as many have been worried about her limited public appearances since she underwent surgery.
The princess was spotted going to a gathering at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk before her scheduled tummy surgery on January 16th, which will take place at a secret location.
Ever since the princess came back to Windsor at the end of January, she hasn't been spotted in public. This has caused people to become more and more worried about her well-being.
Online speculation about her absence has increased following Prince William's decision not to attend his godfather King Constantine's memorial service. The event was planned after the Hellenic King passed away in January 2020. Although William stated that he couldn't attend due to personal reasons, it has inspired various theories.
Responding to the gossip, a representative from Kensington Palace declared: "Right from the start, we made it crystal clear that Princess Diana would not be available until after Easter and any progress reports would only be issued for significant events."
The Palace stated to The Independent earlier this week that the princess was "recovering well" following the operation.
The princess will have the close attention of medical experts from the royal family, as well as access to follow-up care at the London Clinic. There will be skilled physiotherapists available to work with her on a personalized healing plan, and she can also receive a video consultation with a nurse specialist at home.
On Thursday, William made his first public appearance after deciding not to go to King Constantine's memorial service.
He went to the Western Marble Arch Synagogue and engaged in discussions about the increasing prevalence of antisemitism in the United Kingdom.
William listened to the individual accounts shared by the youth detailing the impact of increasing hate towards Jewish students in different parts of the UK. The pervasive hatred has led to a sense of apprehension among the student population, and a general "climate of fear".
So, as I've stated previously, discrimination against Jewish individuals should not be accepted in our current community. And just to emphasize my stance, I want to reiterate this statement to all of the Jewish students here today.
Kate was supposed to accompany William for the synagogue visit that was scheduled to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day.
