According to Kensington Palace, the Princess of Wales had a triumphant abdominal operation and is currently receiving medical attention in a hospital. She is projected to stay there for a span of two weeks.

On Tuesday, a 42-year-old woman named Catherine was brought into the London Clinic for a scheduled operation. However, the palace has not disclosed any further information regarding the procedure. According to sources, Catherine has requested that her health details be kept confidential.

According to the palace, she will be remaining in the private hospital for a period of 10 to 14 days before heading back to her home for further recovery. Based on current medical advice, it is unlikely that she will be taking up her public responsibilities before the Easter season.

The palace recently released a statement that reads: "The Princess of Wales acknowledges that this statement will likely attract attention. She kindly asks that the people understand her need to keep things as ordinary as possible for her children. Moreover, she desires that her private medical details remain undisclosed."

Kensington Palace will not give regular updates on the progress of Her Royal Highness unless there is a noteworthy development that needs to be communicated.

The Princess of Wales wants to say sorry to everyone affected that she must delay her upcoming appointments. She hopes to reschedule as many as she can at the earliest opportunity.

The royal residence declined to verify the reason behind Catherine's treatment, however, they assured that the ailment was not cancerous.

The prince and princess won't be traveling abroad in the upcoming months.
